When it gets too humid or hot, the showers come in handy. The best places to visit during the summer include Haflong, Guwahati, Kaziranga National Park, Majuli, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, and Tinsukia. One of Assam’s three Bihu festivities, Rongali or Bohag Bihu, may also be experienced. Their main celebration is Bihu.

During the monsoon season, Assam experiences severe rains. The Brahmaputra frequently overflows and floods the areas along its banks as a result. During the monsoon season, landslides occur often in various regions of the states, which may be dangerous and problematic for travellers. Monsoon tourism in Assam is not advised.

Winter Season:

Winter is the finest season to visit Assam since it is cool but nice. Temperatures range from 8°C to 25°C, with some areas seeing temperatures as low as 6°C.
