Kaziranga Honeymoon Tour Packages

Winter is referred to as the finest hour to visit Kaziranga for a honeymoon couple because this is the only hour when the required temperature of Kaziranga is utterly appropriate for excursion activity. During the winter season one can witness the supreme animals of kaziranga in every zone. Because the required temperature is even suitable for animals and they don’t have to keep themselves near water bodies.

Generally Kaziranga remains closed for six months but sometimes it increases its duration because of flooded water. In monsoon the water flow of the river Brahmaputra increases and it affects the major parts of Kaziranga as Kaziranga is quite attached to Brahmaputra.

Inside kaziranga couples can find two types of safari; elephant safari and jeep safari. If you couples are from India then a jeep safari will be priced at around 3,700 Rs and if you belong to a foreign national then you people have to pay around 7,500 Rs. 
For elephant safari Indian couples are liable to pay around Rs 1,400 while foreign national couples have to pay around Rs 3,200.
Note: in one jeep a maximum 5 persons are allowed.

Two days are more than enough for honeymoon couples to explore Kaziranga National Park, one day for jeep safari and one day for elephant safari. Couples are advised not to miss the elephant safari because elephant safari will take you deep inside Kaziranga where you can witness supreme animals from a short distance.

In terms of comfortness both the safaris are cosy and fine inside the Kaziranga National Park. But elephant safari is referred to as the most excellent safari because being the gentle giant elephant provides much safety when you are close to a beast creature like rhino, wild buffalos, tigers etc. It also provides an experience of early age transportation.

Kaziranga attracts lots of tourists from India and outside India to witness the greatest population of one-horned rhinoceros which makes approximately  ⅔ of its total population in the world. It also serves some rare species and endangered species in its lap like bengal tigers, Indian leopards, clouded leopards, capped langurs, chinese pangolins etc. which helps Kaziranga to attract tourists from India and other nations.

From Guwahati couples have to cover a distance of 193 kilometres to reach Kaziranga National Park. If you couples are flying to Guwahati then the required distance you have to cover from the Guwahati International Airport to Kaziranga is 151 kilometres. The nearest railway station to Kaziranga is Furkating Railway Station which is 75 km away from Kaziranga.

Staying deep inside the Kaziranga National Park is not possible as there are no such facilities available. But there are some lodges and camps built close to the central and western zone where honeymoon couples can stay and spend quality time with each other in a peaceful environment.

Couples can find approximately 4 zones in Kaziranga for exploring and they are the Central zone  (Kohara), western zone (Bagaori), Eastern Zone (Agaratoli) and Burapahar zone.

For honeymoon couples the central and western zone is recommended because these are the only zones where the probability of sighting a one horned rhinoceros, tiger, swamp deer etc. If couples are exploring these zones with a gentle giant then they can witness these creatures from a very short distance.
