Places to visit during Kaziranga Bike Tour

Agnigarh

Agnigarh Hill is located on the Brahmaputra River’s bank in the Assamese district of Tezpur. The setting is associated with a well-known mythological romance. According to Hindu folklore, Aniruddha, Lord Krishna’s grandson, and Usha, the daughter of the asura emperor Banasura, fell in love. Banasura did not approve of the marriage, so he imprisoned Aniruddha elsewhere and imprisoned his daughter Usha here. It was known as Agnigarh or the fort of fire since it was believed that this territory held a fire-based barrier that only Banasura could overcome.

Bamuni Hills

Several historical artifacts from the region’s colorful past may be discovered in Assam, a northeastern Indian state. Weather in Kaziranga

Summer:During the summer, the park is always available to visitors. However, due to the hot, humid, and steamy weather, it is not considered the best season to visit the park. The average temperature is roughly 37 degrees Celsius. Summer is an excellent time to visit if you want to escape the crowds of the peak season and take advantage of off-season accommodation pricing.

Monsoon:Any intention to visit Kaziranga during the rainy season, which begins in June, should be postponed. Between June and September, the region is expected to get an average of 2200 mm of rain. Floods are caused by the abrupt rise in water levels caused by the neighboring Brahmaputra River. The park’s western half, which accounts for more than 3/4 of its entire area, is currently flooded.

Winter:Winter is thought to be the finest season to visit Kaziranga. The climate is pleasant for park visitors, with temperatures ranging from 5°C to 25°C. If you like bird watching, now is the greatest time to go because hundreds of them are migrating to the park from neighboring mountains in search of warmer weather.

How to Reach Kaziranga

By Road: Kaziranga is readily reached by bus. Guwahati is around 227 miles distant, and bus tickets cost Rs 500. Tickets to Jorhat, 96 kilometers away, cost roughly Rs 70. Tickets to Naugaon, Dibrugarh, and Tezpur cost Rs 50 each. The price of a ticket varies depending on whether the bus is privately owned or operated by the government. Buses in this area are usually quite safe. Major airlines including Air Asia, Air India, GoAir, IndiGo, Jet Airways, and Spice Jet use the Guwahati airport as a hub. The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport serves New Delhi, Bangkok, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, among other significant cities. Before visiting Kaziranga National Park travelers have to keep something in mind and that is they must wear forest color clothes and avoid clothes that have a high focal length like red and white. 7. For how many months can Kaziranga remain open and closed?

Every year for approximately six months Kaziranga remains open and for six months it remains completely closed, from the start of November till the end of April Kaziranga welcomes its travelers and from the starting date of the month of May till the last date of October Kaziranga remains completely closed due to heavy rain and flood water.

No, travelers are not permitted to stay at any zone of Kaziranga due to safety issues but if you want to experience a jungle place then near Kohara–the central zone, and Bagori–the western zone some hotels and resorts are built where a traveler can stay overnight.
