Summer:Summers in Dawki are not that harsh as compared to any part of India. Moreover It is considered as one of the best hours to visit this stunning site and perform multiple activities that it offers for its visitors. Even in the summer season the required water of Umngot River would look crystal clear. If you are planning to visit Dawki in the summer season then you will not face any difficulties in terms of sightseeing and adventure activities. In the summer season one can also perform a boating activity on the cleanest river of India as it is allowed for tourists visiting Dawki. The required heat intensity one can experience during the summer season in Dawki is 28-25 degree celsius and minimum ranges between 20-15 degree celsius. Summer season in Dawki starts from March and lasts till the end of June.
Monsoon:From the end of June till the end of September Dawki receives heavy rainfall even though the Umngot river (Cleanest river of India) gets muddy which decreases its attractiveness. Although the required temperature of Dawki in winter ranges 25-20 degree celsius in day-time but it drops down to 10-8 degree celsius at night. How to Reach Dawki
By Road: Although Meghalaya does not have an international airport and a railway line, it has well connected highways that connect it with many other states. Therefore, if you are planning your trip to Dawki by road then you are going to have a rest-ful and pleasing ride throughout your journey.
By Train: If you are visiting Dawki by availing a train service facility then unfortunately you will be able to cover your journey to Guwahati only because Dawki, Meghalaya does not have its own railway station.
