How to Reach Majuli
By Road: If you are covering your journey by road then you have to initially reach the Brahmaputra valley of Jorhat and from here you can get a direct bus or cab to Neemati Ghat. If you have your own vehicle, you can drive down till Neemati Ghat. And from Neemati Ghat you have to hire a ferry service to reach Majuli Island.
By Train: The nearest rail stop you can find close to Majuli or Majoli island is Jorhat railway station. One can find a direct train to Jorhat from different cities of Assam like Guwahati, Kamakhya, Mariani. If you’re travelling by a train then you can reach Guwahati Railway Station first and from here you can take a direct train service to Jorhat Railway station. The moment you step out from the Jorhat railway station you will find numerous cab service providers that can take you to Neemati Ghat. From Neemati Ghat you have to travel by a ferry to your desired destination.
